Biography of Sharon Lane
Sharon Lane, President of Lane Management Group, Inc. and LMG Pictures, LLC, has a diversified background in the entertainment industry.
While working her way through college, Ms. Lane initiated advertising campaigns that enabled her to achieve success as a commercial Copywriter, Production Coordinator and eventually as Creative Director for Florida based advertising agencies and production companies. She went on to become a Development Executive with a Los Angeles film development company, and later headed a company responsible for managing Music Video Directors.
In 1992, Ms. Lane returned to Miami, Florida to establish Young Actors Studio, Inc. for the purpose of coaching, training and preparing young actors for work in the Film and TV industry. Young Actor’s Studio thrived for over 3 years until Ms. Lane launched her talent management company, Lane Management Group, Inc., which focused exclusively on developing and managing young talent.
By 2002, Ms. Lane had expanded her management scope by signing a first-time Director/Writer to Lane Management Group. After several years of developing this writer’s screenplay, she formed LMG Pictures, LLC and undertook the role of Producer/Executive Producer to successfully produce the award-winning film “Canvas”, starring Joe Pantoliano and Marcia Gay Harden.
Late in 2005, Ms. Lane permanently relocated to Los Angeles to better devote her energies towards the growth and success of her clients at Lane Management Group, Inc.
Ms. Lane serves as a private acting coach for all of her management clients. Her clients have achieved tremendous success in both film and television and have included:
